Training Methodology


TS3 Training uses industry standard methodologies to support the training that we deliver. Each stage of the training process is continually assessed to ensure our training maintains the quality standards that our clients expect. We analyze all aspects of our training delivery using the training cycle as shown in the diagram.

    At the same time we are conscious that many organisations just want the training delivered effectively. Whilst maintaining an underlying quality regime is important we believe that is vital that we don’t neglect the clients’ wishes for the sake of satisfying an esoteric internal development process.

Training Cycle - Analysis

Where a client is unsure of a particular training requirement TS3 Training can undertake a Training Needs Analysis for one or a group of employees. This can be as simple as a ‘tick to say what you can do’ through to a complete TNA


Training Cycle - Design

Courses are designed to meet clients’ specific needs. For bespoke courses this can be a requirement to gain a specific skill set, perhaps to understand a new internally created application. For generic courses the content is often mapped to vendors’ criteria for their testing regimes. This enables delegates to achieve vendor certification and can be used as part of employee CPD (Continuing professional Development) – as well as giving a ‘Feel Good Factor’ to individuals who achieve certification.


Training Cycle - Delivery

Courses are delivered by experienced Instructors who are certificated by the appropriate vendor e.g. Microsoft, ECDL etc. For Microsoft courses the MMI (Microsoft Master Instructor) and /or MCT (Microsoft Certified Trainer) certificate is held. Instructors continually update their skill sets and associated certifications to reflect new technologies and applications.
 


Training Cycle - Evaluation

Every course delivered is subject to evaluation. This can be a formal or informal evaluation as felt appropriate by TS3 Training staff and/or by the client. Evaluations are completed online using a third party survey site. To access the site and view a demo evaluation please click here. Evaluations completed by delegates are of course also available to the client for analysis/review

Where clients have their own QA/Evaluation systems in Place TS3 Training will of course be happy for these to be used. We would hope that these evaluations would be shared with us (anonymously if appropriate) in order that we can improve our own training delivery.

Some of our clients subscribe to Metrics that Matter (MTM), a proprietary online system for the evaluation of training. We have delivered a number of courses that have been assessed using MTM and would be happy to share the results with bona-fide client requests.
